How do I make the reservation?
Should I pay a deposit?
For bookings for 2 days or more, there is no deposit. For single-day bookings you will have to pay deposit in order the reservation to be valid. After the booking, we will contact you as soon as possible for the specific amount.
Can I prolong the duration of the car rental?
As long as we have available the car and you inform us in sufficient time, especially during high season you can prolong your rental’s duration.
What happens in case of booking cancellation?
In case of cancelation up to 7 days before the arranged car delivery you get full refund of your deposit and there is no extra charge. In any other case there is no refund of the amount.
How does identification proceed?
When you reach Santorini Island, a member from our team will be on the spot you asked to pick-up your car, holding a big banner with your name.
Does pick-up or drop-off take place beyond working hours?
You can pick up or drop off the rental car 24/7. Nevertheless, a small fee applies for delivering or collections of the car for out of operational hours. Our working schedule is:
Are cars with automatic gearbox available?
Our fleet includes Smart, Opel Corsa, Volkswagen Beetle, Peugeot 207cc,108 , Fiat 500, Kia Picanto, Suzuki Alto and more with automatic gearbox.
Can I transport a rental car on boat to another island?
Vehicles rented by Santorini Car Rental can be used out of Santorini in special cases and upon contact
When can I pick up the car?
Due to the fact that the time that you arrive is not arranged you should call us 30’ before your arrival at the cable car. In case of you are not able to call us from your mobile then, you can try at one of the local shops.
Where will I pick-up the car if I am coming with Cruise-ship?
The meeting point will be at the exit of the cable car, where a representative of Santorini Car Hire will be there holding a banner with your name. At a 3’ walking distance there is a parking, where you will pick up the car.
